SEA, LAND AND CITY

Coming in 2024

A pioneering project to unite people and business behind nature positive solutions across Sea, Land and City in the UK.

In partnership with the following sponsors and media:

To discuss getting involved as business or media:

David Attenborough’s Wild Isles have made audiences aware that the UK is one the most nature depleted countries on earth, but what can we do about that? The purpose of this project is to take a fresh approach to activate public interest and business support for nature-based solutions that are at the heart of what it will take to turn our nature-depleted country around and restore our connection to nature.

Starting with the South West England, we’ll chart a female led adventure and documentary to spotlight powerful nature based solutions. From tripling the size of the UK’s temperate rainforest, to restoring the South Coasts’ lost sea grass and kelp forests, to growing access to regenerative food in a changing climate — we’ll meet some of the most exciting projects with the potential to lead big impact. The team will trek, climb, wade and forage their way through the region to meet these exceptional projects and the people behind them and give the audience a direct and intimate experience of nature restoration in action as they come on the journey with us.

  • Brought to life through a film to be distributed by WaterBear and supporting multi-media, which Wonderoom is co-producing with Rubber Republic.

We’re thrilled to have The Crown Estate and Triodos Bank UK on board as lead sponsors and partners for the project. We welcome progressive businesses and individuals in the region who are keen to get involved, to get in touch.

This adventure and the documentary form part of an ambitious new programme of work by Wonderoom to catalyse nature positive impact and connection across UK ‘Sea, Land and City’ through immersive learning, storytelling and business engagement.

Pioneering Sustainable Brands

In partnership with:

A nationwide series to spotlight pioneering sustainable brands and leaders.
In partnership with The Evening Standard.

In our first Wonderoom Production we spotlighted pioneering sustainable brands in the UK across food, fashion, banking, beauty and beyond. Brought to life through a column for The Evening Standard alongside social content and photography. We produced a video series where we interviewed the founders and leaders behind these exceptional businesses to gives audiences a more intimate experience of sustainability in action. The series brought to life some of the biggest opportunities and limits of what sustainability has to offer. The conversations are available on YouTube, Instagram and via featured brand partners.

For a sustainable tourism deep dive we co-produced and presented with Beyond Your World a 20-minute feature in partnership with UNESCO UK. The feature set as a ‘Green Weekend on the Jurassic Coast’, a world heritage site, in which we explore 90km of coastline on land and sea and highlight the opportunity and benefits of local and sustainable travel.
